We help students make strategic application decisions including schools and programs, application choices such as Early Decision, Early Action, and/or Regular Decision, and present their application in a complementary manner to this strategy.

Written essays give schools an invaluable opportunity to learn more about students, how they think, what they do, and what they value. We help students tell their stories effectively and highlight aspects that resonate with colleges.

Deciding which schools to apply to can be a daunting task, given the diversity of options available. We interactively help students create a list of schools to meet their needs. This may include having an appropriate mix of “reach,” “match,” and “safety” schools, choosing the number of schools to apply to, programs offered, culture, size, and regional considerations.

Academics are a hallmark of a successful college application. We help students select the optimum classes and schedule to align with their goals and meet college expectations.

Letters of Recommendation give colleges direct insight into students directly from their teachers and third parties. We help students make the most of this opportunity, including selecting the right individuals for their goals.

This is particularly critical at competitive schools where the individual’s activities can differentiate between otherwise indistinguishable candidates. We work with students to share their extracurriculars in ways that contribute to their application strategy and help them stand out in a crowded field of applicants.

In-person interviews can be intimidating for students as they generally have little prior interview experience. We help students prepare for college admissions interviews, refine their message, come up with questions, and conduct mock interviews to increase confidence.

Financial aid can be a significant factor in college application strategy for many families. We help families navigate these strategic decisions to find the best opportunities to match their needs.

Once students receive college decisions, whether they be early acceptances, deferrals, waitlist, or otherwise, we help students with necessary post-decision follow-up and support in decision-making.
