Brooke has been successfully helping high school students with the college admissions process for over ten years. She has helped students not only determine which schools are the best for them, but also how to gain admission to them.
Through her own experiences as an undergraduate at Washington University in St. Louis (where she spent her freshman and sophomore years) and at the University of California at Berkeley, (where she transferred and spent her junior and senior years), Brooke learned invaluable lessons on the unique differences between the admissions process and the college experience at two very different types of schools, one being a small private institution and the other being a large public university.
After earning a B.A. in English from UC Berkeley, Brooke experienced the other side of the admissions process when she became the youngest member of the UC Berkeley Undergraduate Admissions Committee. In 2003, 2005, 2009 and 2016, as part of the admissions committee, she evaluated and made decisions on applications for UC Berkeley’s freshman class.
In 2005, Brooke earned a Masters in Higher Education from Harvard University, a program tailored to college admissions professionals. While at Harvard, she worked in the Undergraduate Admissions Office, where she observed the Harvard College application process firsthand.
Originally from Camarillo, California, Brooke has settled in North San Diego County where she lives with her husband, Evan, and eight-year-old son, Teddy. In addition to helping students find their path and achieve their dreams, she enjoys traveling, music, the arts, college sports of all kinds, and (most importantly) mentoring students.
Evan has been an integral part of Green College Consulting since its founding in 2013, overseeing operations and strategy.
With over 10 years at Green College Consulting, a law degree, 17 years of experience in enterprise software sales, and a published book on entrepreneurship titled Liberation Day, Evan brings exceptional writing and communication skills to the team. He often collaborates with Brooke to guide students through the essay-writing process, specializing in idea generation, essay structure, and messaging.
Evan earned his BS in Business Administration from the Georgetown University McDonough School of Business, graduating Cum Laude in 2002, followed by a JD from the University of San Francisco School of Law in 2007.
Originally from San Francisco, in addition to his work at Green College Consulting, Evan is the Founder and Chief Liberation Officer of Corporate Liberation, an entrepreneurship consulting firm. When not working, he enjoys family time, golf, baseball, cooking, and travel.
